About Me

As you may have figured out, my name is Brayla. Brayla Coston to be exact. I am a woman, I am Black, I am an artist, and this is my domain.

I create and tell stories through various mediums. This is a space for exploration and a portfolio of all that is me. Sometimes, I am behind the lens, more often, I am in front; always, I am a vessel, for something far greater than me alone.

Fashion fuels my energy. Photography excites my spirit. Filmmaking pushes my creativity. Acting reminds me that life is short, so why not do as much as you can, and be as much as you can be. Acting, to me, is an escape, as well as an embrace, a distraction, as well as an awakening. It is a beautiful opportunity to explore the lives of others, and give life to words on paper.

I am a girl from Wilmington, NC. A graduate of the Howard University. A woman of God. I am…just getting started.
